The award-winning Pattaya Exhibition And Convention Hall (PEACH) was recently the chosen venue for the 4th Ship Technology for the Next Decade Exhibition. The event attracted tourists, local and international investors and naval officers from all over the world and gathered the largest collection of local and international modern ship technology making it a tremendous success.

Due to its sufficient world-class facilities and its success in attracting and hosting significant national and international events, the exciting Ship Teach IV Exhibition was held at this award-winning venue for the first time this year to mark the 5th anniversary of the founding of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). Organized by the Royal Thai Naval Dockyard, the event featured exhibitions of advanced technologies in the maritime and related industries, armament and combat systems as well as promoted the East Economic Corridor (EEC) which will ultimately stimulate economy and investment in the region. Admiral Naris Pratoomsuwan, the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy presided over the opening ceremony.
Over the course of the 3-day event, participants were entertained with cultural performances, demonstrations of equipment from both the public and private sector and enjoyed a special lecture series on investment in the EEC by renowned speakers, such as Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak, Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont, Senior Chairman of Charoen Pokphand Group, Dr. Uttama Savayana, Thailand’s Minister of Industry, Mr. Sontirat Sontijirawong, Thailand’s Deputy Minister of Commerce and Dr. Kanit Sangsubhan, the Secretary-General of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) Office.
