PEACH – Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall was honoured to be the chosen venue for the 1st Domestic MICE Mart on 4th July 2014. This event was organized by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau also known as TCEB. The aim of this event was to invite all the leading players in the Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions from across the country to come together to promote Thailand’s MICE business. Furthermore TCEB wanted this opportunity to update all the delegates about the MICE industry and recent news.
The program for the event featured discussions and experience sharing from industry experts, presentation from TCEB on the roadmap ahead and table top meetings where sellers and buyers were arranged to meet face to face. It was a very exciting day with numerous VIPS attending the event including the Mayor of Pattaya city, Mr. Ittipol Khunpleum who also presided over the opening ceremony and the president of TCEB, Mr. Nopparat Maythaveekulchai. In total there were over 50 venues exhibiting and around 30 domestic buyers from various sectors. The highlight was the award ceremony for the MICE blogger competition that began in the beginning of this year in which top bloggers were given a city each to promote. The winner had over 1 million followers.

I am also very pleased with the turnouts and TCBE will do its best to continually promote MICE business in Thailand. We have many interesting programs in the pipeline,” said Mr. Nopparat Maythaveekulchai, president of TCEB.
